‘Tis the season for camel and tan hues!! I’m currently having a love affair with these color tones, and I’ve invested in a few REALLY great pieces like this coat and this coat blazer. Both pieces will be timeless and classic for all the future seasons as well so definitely no buyer’s remorse here haha! I’m so excited that Christmas is next week but also feeling bittersweet that this year is actually coming to end! This has obviously been such a special year for my little family with the birth of our baby girl and 2014 will always hold the most special place in my heart. Although I’m sad that this year will be over soon, I’m also SO excited for what the future holds as Everly gets older. She’s already starting to sit up on her own and has two little teeth already!! She got her teeth in fairly early and it was so hard to see her in discomfort but I know it’s all part of the growing up process. It’s hard to believe that in six short months, we’ll be planning her 1 year old birthday party (YES, I’m already thinking about that…Moms out there should understand lol!)

Hope you’re all having a great week!

Hi there! This is my first week taking care of the baby by myself without the hubby – although daunting at first, it does get better every day (for now). Everly is now a little over one month old and already showing so much personality! She loves bath time and massages, talking and cooing while we change her diaper and is obsessed with her boppy newborn lounger and rock n’ play!

Hope you are all having a great week!

heat wave
heat wave

I’m sure everyone has heard about the heat wave in LA by now. We’ve been experiencing record breaking temps again, which unfortunately means added pressure to the already severe drought issue and also the increased risk of brush fires. All we can do is wait it out and hope for some cool down because let me tell you – being eight plus months pregnant and having to deal with temps in the 100s makes me even more exhausted and sluggish than I already am. I’m living in maxi dresses lately, and I’m so happy I’ve been able to find some cute ones at Forever 21 recently which still leave breathing room for the huge baby bump! Hope you guys are having a great week and thank you so much for visiting!
