Happy Friday! Sorry I’ve been a little MIA these past few days – things have been kinda hectic and crazy, and I didn’t want to overwhelm myself too much more before the holidays!

Anyways, I’m loving this shearling vest soo much! It was pretty chilly that day I wore this outfit and with just a thin turtleneck and this vest, I felt so warm and bundled. Sometimes when the weather gets really cold, I know I need to wear like five layers but it gets a little frustrating have to remove those layers once I get indoors and the whole nine.

I’m realizing that shearling just might be the perfect material for cold weather! You don’t even need to layer that much when wearing something with shearling! Although I don’t live in an area where it gets too cold, I would highly recommend investing in a shearling coat/vest! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this one for a splurge or this one which is super affordable but still looks expensive.

I’m excited that this week is supposed to get cooler so I can re-wear this vest haha – it makes things easier when I can just throw it on over a sweater! I just picked up this sweater from J.Crew and I can’t wait to wear it.

I hope you all had a wonderful week!

Hi everyone! I hope everyone’s Thanksgiving/Black Friday/Cyber Monday was successful! There were some really great sales this past weekend! I loved that many stores also extended their Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals!! Were you all able to score some good finds for the holidays? I wanted to get started on my Christmas shopping so I was able to check some of those off my list – definitely an improvement for me since I’m the biggest procrastinator when it comes to holiday shopping!

I’m wearing this Marissa Webb skirt again (currently on sale!!) but this time pairing it with this cropped tailored blazer for a more formal/business casual look. I love that the skirt can be dressed both up and down. I’m thinking I’ll pair it with some black tights next time with a longline coat for a chic winter look. (That’ll only happen if the temps STAY cooler in LA though.)

Can you guys believe it’s already December 1?? Countdown to Christmas and NYE! We are traveling internationally for Christmas and New Year’s so I’m extra excited! I’ve been trying to pack in my head already because not only do I have to pack for myself but packing for Everly is always a HUGE task when it comes to traveling. She probably takes up like 70% of our suitcases haha – I mean we have to prepare for ALL types of weather right? Anyways, I’m excited nonetheless!

Hope you are all having a good week so far!

This outfit has me feeling a little retro which I’ve been loving lately. I personally think that everyone should invest in a pair of good flares because who wouldn’t want their legs to look miles longer than they really are? :) (Unless of course you already have super long legs then no need, you’re just blessed haha).

I fell madly in love with this fringe sweater when I saw it in the store – it’s soft oatmeal color is so perfect and such a perfect Fall staple. Not only is the color soft and cozy – it actually wears super comfy as well. I typically stray away from too many turtleneck sweaters because I hate (DESPISE) wearing anything itchy, ESPECIALLY if it’s constraining to my neck – tell me I’m not alone on this. That’s why sometimes when I see people spending an arm and a leg on cashmere or wool, I’m like, really?? You know it isn’t going to be comfortable!!! Sorry- just my opinion.

I can’t believe it’s THANKSGIVING week!! Let the official holiday season commence! I am so excited to have Everly experience all the fun of the holidays this year! I’m hoping she loves the holidays as much as we do – although I know it might take a few years for her to fully appreciate it.

I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving! As always, I’m thankful for all my readers and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for stopping by and reading!
