Top: Zara (old, loving this one for Fall), Bottom: Trouve via Nordstroms (simliar here), Shoes: Sole Society (here), Accessories: Random belt (simliar here), J.Crew link bracelet, Etsy rings, Clutch: Saint Laurent (here)

I must admit, I’m a huge fan of pleats. Give me an outfit that involves pleats, and I’ll most likely love it. Now, add some leather to the mix, it’s love at first sight. I really don’t think you can go wrong with a leather pleated skirt in a neutral color like cream or beige. It’s so easy to pair with other items, and I love that it’s thick enough to wear in the winter with some tights and a cute coat!

I’ve slowly but surely accepted the fact that summer is pretty much over by now, so I’m already getting myself in the Fall (fashion) mindset, as you can see from today’s outfit. I love neutral earthy tones for the Fall, I guess it reminds me of the changing of the leaves (not that we have much of that here in sunny California) but it sure does call for some great outfit insprations! :)

By the time you’re reading this, I’ll be in Paris! <3 Hoping for some reliable internet connection so I can post pics!

Happy Friday and have a great weekend!

P.S. - The lucky winner of my Rustic Cuff giveaway is Melissa Leva!! Send me a quick email with your contact info and we’ll get those beautiful bracelets to you! Congrats!

Not to sound like a broken record but it’s the last day to enter my giveaway here!

I’m off to Paris tomorrow, and I have SO much to do before then. I haven’t even started packing yet! I tend to be the “over-packer” when I go on trips. I’ve been trying to change that over the years but haven’t been quite so successful yet. I’m always the “what if” type of person and anxiety tends to set in right when I walk out the door. The good thing is my hubby is the complete opposite so I’m trying to rub some of his light packer/nonchalant attitude on myself, but it’s not easy! There’s so much I want to bring…yet so little space. Oh well, I guess if I forget something, I can always buy it over there, right?? :)

Please let me know if you guys have any ideas for over-packers like myself!

Talk to you guys soon! Au Revoir!

Tribal Maxi and Rustic Cuff Giveaway!
Tribal Maxi and Rustic Cuff Giveaway!

Remember my previous post here about my fear of maxi skirts? Well, I got a little more courage after that last post and decided to push the envelope a bit further with this maxi skirt with a side slit! Luckily there weren’t too many people around when taking these pics, so I strutted along with a little more confidence than usual. :)

Wearing: Skirt: Forever 21 (old but similar here, here and here) Top: Target (here) Bralette: Nordstroms (SO comfortable, here) Shoes: Prabal Gurung for Target (old, similar here) Accessories: Cuff (thanks to Rustic Cuff!), Tildon necklace via Nordstroms (here) Purse: Chanel ‘WOC’

Hello everyone! I’m so extremely excited to finally host my very first giveaway and what better way to do it than team up with one of my favorite custom cuff lines, Rustic Cuff. I’ve wanted to do a post dedicated to them for some time now and this was the perfect opportunity! I initially found out about Rustic Cuff after seeing my celebrity crush Giuliana Rancic wear hers on TV right after she had her adorable baby. They immediately caught my attention, and I had to find out who made them. After some researching, I found my way to Rustic Cuff and the rest is history.

My first custom cuff, gifted to me by my husband (here), is extra special since it’s engraved with our wedding anniversary date and a custom message. I wear it almost every day and has undoubtedly become one of my most loved accessories. I’ve always been extremely fond of things that are customized or monogrammed - the personal touch just makes them priceless. Additionally, as someone who constantly has trouble finding bracelets that fit my smaller than normal wrist (so frustrating!), you can imagine how excited I was when I learned that these sturdy cuffs could still be easily bent to fit a small or larger wrist. They have so many amazing and unique selections (not only cuff style), and I really think there is a style out there for everyone and all age groups (even kids!). After interacting with the talented owner, Jill Donovan, I just know how passionate she is about what she does and it’s so great to see her company grow. I know that everyone will love her accessories as much as I do.

With that said, let’s get to the fun part! Rustic Cuff has kindly offered to give away 10 (YES, 10!) bracelets from their upcoming ‘Cate’ collection (pictured below) to one of my lucky readers. When I found out what Jill wanted to giveaway, I could not wait to share it with you guys. I mean, to be honest, I kind of want to enter my own giveaway, lol!

The lucky winner will receive all ten of these bracelets - pretty awesome, yea? You’ll have so many different colors to play with and they are so easy to wear and stack with your other arm candy - you’ll be set! The giveaway rules are simple, so I don’t see any reason why you guys shouldn’t enter! :)

All you have to do is:

  1. Follow @thefashionpledge on Instagram (if you don’t have Instagram, you can also follow me on loglovin’ or Twitter, just tell me which one!)
  1. ‘Like’ Rustic Cuff on Facebook here (if you don’t have FB, you can also follow them on Instagram @Rusticcuff (or even better, do both!)

  2. Leave a comment for me with your name and email and also if you would like the bracelets in the adult or kids (ages 5-15) size (for all you Mama’s, Aunts, Sisters out there, I think your little ones will absolutely love these!)

Giveaway will end at 11:59PM PST on Wednesday August 21st. Winner will be chosen at random and announced shortly after giveaway closes. Open to U.S. and Canada residents only. One entry per person. All three rules must be completed to qualify.

Thank you so much for reading and good luck everyone! <3
